COVID-19 Immunisation Service

The Australian Government has committed to providing the COVID-19 vaccine for free to all Australian citizens, permanent residents, refugees, asylum seekers and temporary visa-holders. Chemist Warehouse prides itself on providing safe and convenient immunisation services and is fully committed to supporting the Australian Government and public in the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.

Moderna (Spikevax®) and Pfizer (COMIRNATY®) have been approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and recommended by ATAGI as a COVID-19 booster dose. You are eligible for a COVID-19 booster if you are 18 years or older (or 16 years or older for Pfizer) and have had your second or third primary course of COVID-19 vaccination at least 3 months ago. Third primary doses of COVID-19 vaccine are currently available to severely immunocompromised individuals. To check if you are eligible, please click here prior to making a 3rd dose booking.

It is important to note that Australia has some of the toughest safety standards in the world. All vaccines approved for use in Australia undergo robust scientific testing and analysis by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) to ensure they are effective and safe. This includes (but is not limited to) disclosure of your personal information to the Australian Immunisation Register, Medicare, medical personnel who are the service providers of the immunisation, other third parties as required by law. We are required to upload your personal information to the Department of Health (DoH) and the Pharmacy Administrators Program Portal which is owned and operated by Australian Healthcare Associates (AHA).
